Training Videos: To insure safety and uniformity tasks need be done according to your department's SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures). However different shifts often have their own ways of doing things. Additionally it's difficult for people to learn a physical task by only reading a manual.
A great solution is to produce a training video. Now firefighters and trainees can watch the video as many times as needed, and they can also do so from their own home. This is especially useful for learning tasks like tying knots where repetition and practice are key.

Video Publishing Options: All videos can be published for quick streaming on-line or burned to DVDs at full quality. We can also produce on-screen DVD menus and navigation.
We can either travel to your department and shoot videos on location, or you can shoot the video yourself and send it in.
You can send us your digital DV tapes or your video files on a USB thumb drive or data CD. Video files should be in .AVI format.

Our Cameras: We utilize two different video cameras. One is a full high-definition Cannon video camera that can be fitted with different lenses and used on a tripod.
We also use a small pocket sized FlipVideo camera that allows us to film in places where the larger and more expensive cameras can't go, like in the burn trailer of the Fire Control 3 Class.

It's so simple to do and doesn't require any fancy software like offered at other companies. Send your members an email that will be delivered direct to their cell phone as a text message.
We all know firefighters that are not very good "email checkers", but fortunately even these firefighters usually have their cell phones handy.
Text messages also tend to reach people faster than email which makes it the best way to get time sensitive info and requests out to your members fast.
We'll help you simply compile an email list with your firefighter's cell phone numbers. All that's required is knowing the cell phone provider for each, then you're all set. Send an email using your list and it's delivered as a text message to everyone, with no fees or fancy software.

Listen to your dispatch radio on-line! Visitors to your website can listen in and your firefighters can tune in from home and places out of signal range without the need of an actual radio.
RadioReference.com: We normally use the free service at RadioReference and simply provide a link from your website to the player for your particular dispatch that's already available on-line. The service is free and easy to use. You can even tune in with your smart phone!
Custom Streaming Radio: If your particular frequencies are not already available on RadioReference we can get them on-line ourselves. The process requires a dedicated radio and computer located within signal range. The radio needs an audio output that can be adapted down to a 1/8" headphone jack.

An advantage to doing it yourself is having full control and only the channels you wish to hear. On RadioReference several different dispatches are commonly put together on the same audio feed.

We can create custom spiral bound notebooks with quick reference info specifically for your department. Commonly we'll include pump card data with friction loss tables, radio channels, as well as landing zone (LZ) GPS coordinates and more.
Firefighters should always have something to write with at all times, so the majority of the pocket guide consists of blank notebook pages. The reference info is usually placed on the covers for quick access. We can create your custom pocket references to your specifications.
We also try to use water resistant covers and materials where possible to increase the lifespan of the guides which live in the pockets of firefighters.
Full Sized Publications: We can also make full sized binders and booklets for department SOP's or presentations. Let us know what your project is and we'll make it happen.
